刘小弟，教授，硕士生导师。主要从事决策理论与方法、应急管理、复杂系统建模等方面的研究。在国内外期刊上以第一或通讯作者身份发表论文40余篇，其中SCI/SSCI收录23篇，EI/CSSCI收录9篇，出版专著一部，两份研究报告获得湖北省领导批示。主持国家社会科学基金、安徽省自然科学基金，主持完成国家自然科学基金、教育部人文社科项目、安徽省高校优秀青年人才支持计划重点项目、安徽省高校重点实验室开放课题、江苏省普通高校研究生科研创新计划、安徽工业大学青年教师科研基金、国家社科重点项目子课题等。参与国家自然科学基金3项，指导研究生7人。入选安徽省优秀青年人才支持计划，安徽工业大学首批青年拔尖计划“青年英才”、“青年学者”。现为国家自然科学基金、国家社科基金通讯评审专家，以及陕西省、江西省、安徽省、浙江省科技项目评审入库专家，中国优选法统筹法与经济数学研究会智能决策与博弈分会理事。担任系统工程理论与实践、Risk Analysis等50余份国内外期刊审稿人。
